Mark Reid is based in Harrogate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. He has written 16 walking guidebooks, including the acclaimed ‘Inn Way’ series with books covering all of the National Parks of Northern England. Three of his books have been awarded the ‘travel book of the week’ in The Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday and Guardian. He has walked over 7,500 miles of footpaths throughout the North of England over the last 11years and is a qualified Walking Group Leader. He is currently featured on ITV Yorkshire’s ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ walks series.

Enjoy a delightful riverside walk exploring the history and beauty of the dales and vales, or challenge yourself on a moorland trek across Open Access land relying on compass and map skills to reach the hill summit.
Our walks are non competitive where achievement and success is gained through shared experiences that will strengthen team spirit.

Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, Peak District, South Pennines, North Pennines, Northumberland, Lake District (low-lying fells and valleys) and Forest of Bowland. Wherever you are based, we can come to you or provide transport up into the hills.
