With Mark Reid FRGS – author of ‘The Inn Way’ guidebooks & Mountain Leader

Book One – The Eastern Fells

Walk the Wainwrights with Mark Reid on this 6-day walking trip, as we summit all 35 ‘Wainwrights’ in Book One of his Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells (The Eastern Fells).

Based in the Lakeland village of Glenridding, we’ll spend six days completing six fantastic walks in the Eastern Fells of the Lake District.

  • Reach all 35 summits (Eastern Fells) on six guided mountain walks with Mark Reid, a highly experienced Mountain Leader
  • Experience the camaraderie of ‘Walking the Wainwrights’ with like-minded people
  • Make new walking friends and share your sense of achievement on each summit
  • Sociable evenings at Glenridding with your fellow walkers
  • Small group sizes – maximum 8 people per Mountain Leader

This 6-day walking trip will be based from Glenridding, from where we will be able to access the Eastern Fells. Glenridding offers a range of accommodation and facilities including Youth Hostel, hotels, pub, B&Bs and a campsite. There are also shops and cafes.
