Experience the passing seasons of the Yorkshire Dales with Mark Reid FRGS and discover what makes this area so special in spring, summer, autumn and winter on one of our fabulous Walks for All Seasons.
This collection of four Social Walks will delve deeper into the landscapes, history and wildlife of the Yorkshire Dales whilst enjoying a leisurely walk in each of the four main valleys of the Yorkshire Dales – Ribblesdale, Swaledale, Wharfedale and Wensleydale.
These four walks have been carefully chosen to showcase the very best of the Yorkshire Dales through the changing seasons.

These seasonal social walks will introduce you to the many different elements that make the Yorkshire Dales such a special place, from the upland birds of spring to the colourful haymeadows of summer, ancient woodlands of autumn and dramatic waterfalls of winter.

OUTLINE OF THE DAY
9:30am: Meet at a village car park in the Yorkshire Dales
9:30am – 5pm: Full day’s guided walk in the Yorkshire Dales. The walks will cover between 8 and 12 miles over the day, with plenty of rest stops and time to admire the views. The walks will include paths across farmland, valleys, riversides, woodland, moorland, hills and fells, with some rough, uneven and wet ground in places as well as some ascents and descents. We may experience adverse weather conditions, which often adds to the experience.
5pm: De-brief back at the village
