Latest Information from TeamWalking

Due to the current Covid-19 outbreak, I have postponed all of my practical outdoor courses and walks until at least the 19th June 2020. This situation will be constantly re-assessed according to current Government guidance, and a decision will be made in June with regards to my courses and walks scheduled for late June and July.

Review date: 1st June 2020

If you have booked a course or walk between 23rd March and the 19th June, then I will be in touch with you about the options. These include a CREDIT NOTE, which can be redeemed against ANY of our courses or walks (valid until the end of 2021), or a REFUND subject to our usual terms and conditions of 75% refund, however, in these exceptional and unprecedented circumstances and as a gesture of goodwill, if you choose a refund then I will also send you a single-use 25% discount code to use against a future course or walk (valid for 12 months).

I am now running a series of ONLINE E-LEARNING COURSES, including…

  • Virtual Map Reading
  • Understanding Contours
  • Walk Leadership
  • 1:1 Coaching Workshop

THANK YOU for your support of my business. I’ve made my living walking in the countryside since 1997 when I gave up my job to write walking books, and then in 2007 I started TeamWalking, since when I have taken over 11,500 people out walking in the countryside. I really love spending time with my groups walking in beautiful places, watching your navigation skills develop and flourish, sharing good times and laughs, staying in some great pubs. These pubs, cafes, B&Bs and shops in our beautiful countryside are also being adversely affected by these events, and we must support them as much as we can once they reopen. Then there are my freelance self employed Mountain Leaders who are also being affected.
The next few months are going to be challenging for us all, but we will get through this. The hills and mountains will always be there, and I look forward to seeing you back on the hills when this pandemic has passed. I am already planning some exciting new courses and adventures in our beautiful countryside for the future.

Thank you for your continuing support and understanding.

With very best wishes,

Mark Reid
