HOW TO NAVIGATE -- with Country Walking Magazine
Join Country Walking and navigation expert Mark Reid in the beautiful Peak District for the ultimate map-reading lesson! Against a backdrop of stunning moorland and towering rocks, we'll show you how to use a compass, understand map symbols, take a bearing and pace your distance -- then use these skills to discover amazing sights that are hidden from most walkers. We got a glorious day on the edges of Black Hill and Saddleworth Moor for our trip, but with the expert tips in this video, you'll be able to find your way over Britain's wildest hills whatever the weather throws at you. All this and a dog called Elvis too...
